Review: I attended the premiere of 12 years Slave at the Toronto International Film Festival. Any tickets, we had to wait almost 4 hours hoping they would let us say it was definitely worth the sub, bad, and this is hands down the best movie I've seen the festival. Film is based on the true story of Solomon Northup (played by Chiwetel Ejiofor), a free black man living in New York, is abducted and de, awash slavery in Louisiana. As the film begins, we are exposed to his talent as a musician (he plays the violin), and gain insight into the life he leads with his wife and two children. All is well until he meets two men who, it seems, took their music, and I would also like to give them, so he could play activities EAGS days. When Solomon woke up in chains, begins a dark journey and the film does not let you break.If McQueen's other works you've seen, then you are more or less up to know what kind scannána expect (if not, then please Stop reading and watch the hunger and shame). 12 years Slave is dark and raw, he reveals everything without sugarcoating it. It is definitely hard to watch, some people walked out of the theater, but I think that it is not only worth watching, but necessary. Films are exploring themes of slavery few and far between, and never one quite comprehensive and effective as this one. Beautifully shot and edited features movie moments of stress, heartache, and a few laughs here and there. Another actor Steve McQueen created masterpiece.Most get very little screen time. Paul Giamatti and Sarah Paulson are shown in a few minutes, but both are great, as usual. Benedict Cumberbatch plays a plantation owner, Solomon recognizes talent and trying to help him to some extent. Nevertheless, the saliva, it is found to be well scannána person. Cumberbatch was very good, although so far outshined by Michael Fassbender. It will go through every emotion and give your all. I think this is the best performance so far. Paul Dano gets a few minutes of screen time as well, but it makes incredible use. As Benedict employee, he despises slaves and sing songs he made Solomon incredibly powerful scene, which is one of the largest level of the film. Lupita Nyong is the first feature film appearance in the cloud and play the broken heart of a new slave. I hope she has a long career ahead of her that she has the talent to be sure. This is certainly true star Chiwetel Ejiofor. Performance as Solomon is a stunning and memorable, truly hope he wins the Oscar for this year.All all, if you're able to see. 12 years a slave, do not miss it. Not everyone will be able to stomach a movie, but outstanding, and has not even seen large.
