Review:
Hugh Jackman takes you on a journey through the intense emotions of the family entered through the darkest hours. This is perhaps best role to date. From the trailer you know that the character is from the blood, and their daughter was kidnapped, but during the movie you will feel the pain, anger and moral struggles as he deals with this situation. The director did a great job to keep you emotionally invested in the film, even through some intense scenes of violence. The gloomy setting does not give comfort, but it goes hand in hand with the narrative. This movie may be for the faint of heart, but it needs to be to look for some viewers.
