Review:
All great gangster film subchannels human drama. Do not expect an emotional story of guilt, revenge and despair Scarface. It is a wild tale of greed, corruption of power. Darker side of the legendary American Dream.Anybody complained cheesiness of the film missing the point. Superficial characters, cheesy music, fashion and dated further fuel criticism over the lifetime of evil. Nothing in life really matters these characters, and not least on the human level. In fact, the film almost borders on satire, irony, given gangsta rappers, who were inspired by positive lifestyle Tony Montana.This Brian de Palma is a great effort in the direction of that is sometimes excellent and well treated (the final memorable), but often falls to sloppy and cheated. Fortunately, supported by a strong script Oliver Stone (probably good therapy for him, due to the addiction of cocaine, which fought at the time). Topics correspond with a particular focus on the life of Tony Montana, and the development of his character, as is consumed by greed and power. The dialogue is also excellent, comfortable swing between humor and drama. There are many excel line, which has since made its way into popular culture in one way or another.The cast to help make it so, but it is really Pacinos film. One of his previous speeches less savvy (much more common today), this is completely separate from Michael Corleone and Frank Serpico. However, there is watchable as always, very funny (and deliberately over-the-top). It is hard to imagine another Tony Montana after seeing this film, perhaps one of the most imitated performances ever. Pfeiffer acted as awkward and uncomfortable at first, but I realized how it turns out part of his wife a little uncomfortable. There is a unique endeavor, but unfairly judged badly. Secondary actors are very good, especially as Paul Shenar Alexander Sosa.Powerful gentle, sometimes humorous, sometimes shocking, controversial and continuously. Scarface is jednýmz movies eighties (whatever that might mean to you). Gangster film major and affordable, and pop culture monument. 9/10
