Review:
Probably one of the best horror comedies of all time is Edgar Wright's Shaun of the Dead, and since released on 04, there is some good wannabes. Based on the trailer for Zombieland, but I think that this movie has some serious potential in terms of quality Shaun should, perhaps forever. This film, I am happy to say that not only that.Unlike Zombieland much comedy in the recent past, where the majority of filming saw the trailer, Zombieland is filled with moments of laugh-out-loud, thanks to the excellent cast. Eisenberg is great as the main protagonist, Columbus, describe feeling weakness and awkwardness, without Michael Cera like. Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin very sweet but tough Wichita and look more mature than Little Rock's, respectively. Real stand-out performance, though, is Woody Harrelson as a Twinkie-lovin, zombie-Hatin Tallahassee. Next to the Woody Boyd on Cheers and Frasier, it's definitely the best performance of his career. There is also a cameo appearance painfully funny about halfway through the film is a crime to harm. Suffice it to say it? hands-down? the best actor I've ever seen in the most surprising aspect of film.The Zombieland, for me, is how much heart there. All the characters feel warm and alive, and drama that can be found are very sincere. Finally, you feel invested in the story and the characters? I think? is the most important thing any film of any genre can immediately do.Zombieland my favorite horror (comic or otherwise). This? for lack of a better word? quotable dialogue, consistent tone of hysteria, and engaging characters, all come together to create a film that will surely create a cult classic.
