Very underrated modernization classic Shakespeare play. This film is quite sharply criticized directors unusual in cinema, but he understands when moderate often frantic pace of the story in a dramatic scene, and in fact this relationship tends to amplify their power. Beautifully choreographed and shot, wonderfully acted to support the cast and two major stars, Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes, and extremely clever modernization techniques for dialogue. All Elizabethan dialogue remains intact, but everything seems consistent in a modern setting. mainly due to improved results and a double meaning in sentences (ex:. their swords are weapons model, or the flash of money while quoting gold). One of the best Shakespeare adaptations in the multitude of those who have gone to the theater in recent years.
