Review:
I was able to catch a screening of Superbad last night in New York and I was very pleased with the film. Im sure most will compare it with comedy like American Pie, but its much more than that. There were some moments of shock value, but did well to tip the scales more than gross.It is funny teen movie, Superbad clear argument as basic. The actions of three friends (Seth, Evan and Fogell McLovin) to make it really big. I am huge fan of Michael Cera, thanks to the brilliant TV series Arrested Development, and other fans will be happy to see his performance as Evan equally hilarious. The film is sexually pranks and gross outputs that will appeal to American Pie and viewer time and intelligent action that will appeal to the viewer Arrested Development conducted. What was really surprising to me was exciting (platonic) relationship Evan and Seth have. Also, Fogell McLovin is delight.The nerd absolute only negative thing I noticed that was a bit tense in the middle, but it really takes after. His big moment in general and he will be successful at the box office. Bad teen comedies are a dime a dozen, but Superbad is a bright golden egg!
